I wanted to allude to art history and specifically how the medium of photography has coexisted with painting in the modern times. At the same time, the work is representative of change and future development, with the inclusion of buildings still in construction.

The layering of texture and colour over the monochrome photographs accentuates human accomplishment.

The final outcome of the installation was reflective of the thinking and planning process, steady and structured.
